The SG330 is a handy small swing head surface grinding and milling machine for cylinder heads and engine blocks of passenger cars and light trucks. With two spindle speeds in its head, it is suitable for resurfacing aluminium, cast iron and also alu /pre-chambers cylinder heads. The machine has automatic feed of the wheelhead in horizontal movement and manual in vertical movement.

The rigid cast iron base and the table slide on prismatic guides at continuous lubrication. The infinitely variable table traverse produces the exact surface finish desired for the wide range of gasket materials used.

This machine can resurface all popular cast iron, aluminium, diesel cylinder heads with steel pre-combustion chambers and blocks at full grinder speeds (without coolants) within reduced processing times. The rigid cast iron base and table incorporate flat and V-shaped way design, machined directly on the basement, assuring accurate parallelism and side-to-side tracking. The cast iron “box” type columns with dove tail ways and precision ball screw drive feed make the SG 1400M a durable and accurate machine.

This is an excellent machine for line boring blocks or heads. The HBM 810 Horizontal Boring Machine is suitable for reconditioning camshaft housing holes on medium size blocks. Very precise size control and surface finish eliminates line honing all together. The centering of boring holes is achieved on the boring rod by means of suitable center squares and by a tool holder slide adjustable in height.
